My Story
IT ALL STARTED WITH WANTING TO PAY OFF CREDIT CARD DEBT!
Years ago, I ordered Scentsy wax not knowing what I was getting. In December of 2019, a coworker was having a Scentsy party! I bought Pretty in Plaid after smelling a sample and I WAS IN LOVE and it reintroduced me to Scentsy.
In 2020, I became a consultant for another company to benefit my step-son, Turner, more than my pockets since we were home with him more during COVID. I was not passionate about that and felt I could not share something I did not love.
Here I am now 2021, after using Scentsy in my house for years and having warmers in every room, it was like I had woke up. I said to my boyfriend, Cody, I think I am going to become a consultant for Scentsy. We use their products, its cheaper than the other company to start up, so what am I losing. The products in the kit were more than what I was going to pay. I was nervous because I did not succeed with the other company because I did not know how to be a "salesperson" or "push sales". I quickly found it was not the company, it was me because I was not passionate about it. With Scentsy, I did not have to be a "salesperson", I was simply sharing my passion with others and people were seeing what I loved about it.
I love sharing what I have, I love sharing what is being released, I love the new scents, I love the new products, I love that they have things for Turner, Cody, and myself. I love how happy Scentsy makes me and the people I have met through being a consultant, have turned into family. I work a Full-Time Job- 40 hour weeks-with On Call at times, that take away from places we could go and things we could do as a family. As I joined for the "side income" instead of getting a second job, I have become a Scentsy Obsessed because their products are incredible. Since I joined in the end of May 2021, I have since been able to pay off 1 of 3 credit cards(I was silly in college and did not understand finances haha) as well as help pay some of my bills with Scentsy that used to come strictly from my paychecks and made me live paycheck to paycheck.
